PROOF OF CONCEPT

The VacciMax® platform has been tested in a variety of human infectious disease and cancer models. For example, the three dose regime of an existing multivalent vaccine targeting three human infectious diseases was reduced to one by reformulating the antigens in VacciMax® and testing the reformulated vaccine in an animal challenge model. The single dose capability of VacciMax® was also demonstrated in therapeutic cervical cancer and melanoma challenge models using weakly immunogenic peptides as antigens. While the versatile VacciMax® platform could be applied to a wide range of vaccine products, the highest impact for VacciMax® will be in therapeutic cancer applications.
